2021.10.16 19:07 M3moriesNeverDie Saturday
Tired, blankly staring and awaiting a new day.
Deciding whether to run or hide or stand my ground and stay.
Trapped beneath the floorboards being forced to play.
A predator resides above and I am just the prey.
Choking on the dust and smelling foul decay,
Searching for words to describe the feeling I convey.
Do I wait here patiently? Should I willingly obey?
What is the cost if I escape and disobey?
All of this goes through my mind as I slowly lay.
Just another way to spend my Saturday.

2021.10.16 19:07 Average_National I hate being lightly touched can't get 3yr old daughter to stop touching me like this while I'm sleeping
I (22F) am a single mother to a wonderful 3 year old daughter. Unfortunately, I also have a weird thing where I am not the biggest fan of being touched. I do enjoy being touched to a certain extent by the people I love but it has to be firm.. I HATE light or soft touches. Feeling something lightly touch me makes me want to crawl out of my skin and I can feel where I was touched for hours after. However, my daughter is opposite and I can't get her to stop lightly touching me all the time. I can control my reaction once I'm awake (moving away quickly and asking her to stop nicely) but she's been crawling into my bed in the middle of the night and doing it. I don't want to tell her she can't come snuggle me as she has nightmares and I do really love snuggling her, but the soft touches put me into fight or flight mode and I react poorly every time (I start loudly yelling and jump away from her). I'm an awful mother for it and I want to work on my reaction but I'm just not sure how as it is truly automatic. I also want to somehow get her to stop but I don't know if that's possible either as she's only three and doesn't understand. I'm exhausted because once you wake up like that it's very hard to sleep after. I'm at my wits end here and on the brink of completely banning her from crawling in bed with me.. I'm unsure if there is any solution to this other than banning her from my bed but any advice is welcome.
TLDR 22F with 3 yr old daughter can't stand light/ soft touches. How to stop daughter from doing this while I sleep and how to stop reacting poorly so I do not have to ban her from crawling in my bed after a nightmare.

2021.10.16 19:07 Peak_Aware Are Side Quests Worth it?
Aside from the satisfaction of completing all quests in an area, are they actually worth it for much anything else?
I’ve been trying to think if there are any other ways side quests could reward that would fit right into not being insanely overly rewarding but still being worth SOMETHING. As of now they seem to give you almost no edge.
I’ve noticed that the side quests in Mirage almost all reward you with gold (cool but at this point in the game it seems pointless, just give me xp.)
How do other MMO’s reward side quests effectively and what could be done? Better gear drops, pets maybe? Maybe even deeper lore understanding idk man just give me somethinggg

I’m not sure if this error has been caused due to deprecations in my webpack.config.js, or if there is someplace else that I need to look. Here is the full terminal output, my webpack file, and my package.json.
I’ve been trying to debug this for several days. Thank you for your help, any input is greatly appreciated.

Nighthawks by Edward Hopper
Edward Hopper (1882-1967) was an American genre painter best known for his portrayals of everyday life. His compositions are usually very simple, but his techniques are extremely skilled. Hopper's most famous and recognizable painting, "Nighthawks," was completed almost immediately after the United States entered WWII. As a result, the work is frequently regarded as a terrifying depiction of the conflict's global consequences.
The artist painted a lit diner at a crossroads on a rectangular canvas. The restaurant, according to Edward Hopper, was inspired by one in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, right next door to his house.
Because the situation is so broad, it is impossible to pinpoint a specific location. A public institution's image has a timeless, universal sound.
Hopper's painting depicts a red-haired femme fatale and three men (the artist's wife, Joe, posed for the female figure; Hopper painted male figures from himself, looking in the mirror). Because their relationship is ambiguous, the four figures in this image do not interact. Visitors appear to be as separated and distant from the viewer as they are from one another. The only employee, who has taken a break from his work, looks out the window past the customers.
Hopper admitted in "Nighthawks" that he "probably painted the loneliness of a big city unconsciously."
Inside the diner, bright colors (white, lemon, emerald, cherry) draw the eye to what's going on. The warm and inviting diner stands in stark contrast to the dark and empty street and buildings. There used to be a lot of activity here, but now there's just a terrifying silence.
There is no sign of life in the brick house opposite or on the street. A bright house with half-down curtains is devoid of human presence.
Among the artist's additions are a sign advertising cigars for 5 cents, a cash register, and coffee pots.
The fluorescent light from the diner casts a complex pattern of shadows and illuminated areas on the sidewalk. He smacks the glass, turns the building, and leads us across the street, revealing only the cash register. Hopper has removed all references to the entrance, and the audience is separated from the stage by a seamless glass wedge.
It's frequently compared to Edward Hopper's "Early Sunday Morning." It was written at the same time as the war's "Nighthawks" which signaled the beginning of the Great Depression. Despite some similarities (brick houses, no one on the street, public institutions), "Early Sunday morning" conveys a sense of calm rather than anxiety to the viewer. Its windows are open to let in the light in the morning. The universe is about to come to life. The "Nighthawks" are not so lucky. The only human traces outside the diner, a cash register in a shop window and a cigar advertisement. There is no clock in the restaurant, but empty coffee pots on the back counter indicate an inappropriate hour.

Ayy-toyon is a two-headed eagle that lives, in accordance with the beliefs of the Yakuts, in the ninth heaven. His image is adorned with the clothes and tambourines of shamans - after all, it was Aiy-toyon who taught people to shaman. When the ethnographer VI Anuchin asked the Yakuts why Aiy-toyon had two heads, they answered simply: “It hurts a lot”.
